Professional Sports Catering, LLC
wraps up frist year of Fan Food Feedback
EVANSTON, IL- November 4, 2013-- Professional Sports Catering (PSC) is proud to put the finishing touches on the first season of its proprietary Fan Food Feedback program. The program, which uses tablet software to survey fans at games, was designed to give PSC and its partners real time data on what their fans really think of the food service operation.
“This program was very important to us to develop and execute correctly,” said COO Greg Rauch. “So often these surveys occur through an email to a group of ticket holders. This does not give a true representation of what the everyday fan thinks. We wanted to create a system that delivers real results and real steps to continue to improve every aspect of our operation.”
Throughout the 2013 season, PSC had over 4,000 surveys conducted across the country. By using tablets and software designed specifically for PSC, the Fan Food Feedback program gives reports immediately following each event. Additionally, PSC developed a uniform questionnaire and execution process to enable benchmarking across all partners. The survey asks fans to rate areas of foodservice such as variety, quality, wait time, and customer service. The results allow for action plans to be implemented, and best practices to be shared across the country.
“With this program, we are able to compile our fans reaction to our food offerings with their sophisticated Fan Food Feedback technology,” said Lansing Lugnuts GM, Nick Grueser. “Their staff is on the concourse interacting with fans, and the live data reports pinpoint areas of opportunity we can work together to enact quickly.’
Not only does the program provide this invaluable fan satisfaction data, but just as importantly it creates more staff-to-fan interactions. Mr. Rauch explained, “We have some of the best employees in the country working at each of our venues. We wanted a system that enabled our staff to have more opportunities to create positive experiences for fans. This program definitely accomplishes that.”
PSC will continue to offer this program to all of its partners for the upcoming 2014 season and beyond.
Professional Sports Catering, LLC is the only full service food & beverage company that focuses exclusively on Minor League Baseball. Tom Dickson and his partner, Sherrie Myers launched the company in 2005 to serve the needs of minor league baseball teams across the country. The PSC business model focuses on high quality, fresh, cooked-before-your-eyes food and an almost obsessive level of customer service and partnership with its clients. In 2011, PSC announced a joint venture partnership with Mandalay Baseball Properties, who have become active partners in the strategic growth of the company.
