Professional Sports Catering, LLC
and Quad Cities River Bandits sign
historic extension

DAVENPORT, Iowa (May 5, 2013) - A vital part of the Modern Woodmen Park experience is the great taste, unmatched variety and superb value of food and beverage choices, and the Quad Cities River Bandits are ensuring that will continue for at least another decade. The Midwest League club on Friday announced a new 10-year contract with concessions partner Professional Sports Catering.

The length of the contract renewal is unprecedented in the history of the franchise and ensures Professional Sports Catering (PSC) will continue to serve River Bandits fans and ballpark guests through numerous events and meetings at Modern Woodmen Park each year.

"Professional Sports Catering is a big part of the River Bandits' family at Modern Woodmen Park, and we cannot imagine one without the other," said River Bandits owner Dave Heller. "PSC's outstanding service exemplifies everything the Bandits stand for: they provide unmatched service and serve huge portions, their food tastes better than that found in any other ballpark, they offer our fans one of the widest array of menu options in all of Minor League Baseball, including, this season, the Twinkie Dog and the foot-long Bacon Corn Dog, and they do it all at very reasonable prices. It's the grand slam of ballpark food operations!"

Before the 2013 season, the River Bandits and PSC announced several new food and beverage items, as well as lower prices for many concessions at Modern Woodmen Park.

Professional Sports Catering is the only full service food and beverage company that focuses exclusively on minor league baseball. PSC currently provides concession services to 14 different minor league clubs. The River Bandits were among the very first teams to sign on with PSC beginning after the 2008 season - and the team immediately saw a significant increase in its food and beverage sales as a result.

"We value our partnership with the River Bandits and are delighted to continue bringing fans and ballpark guests the best experience in Minor League Baseball," said Professional Sports Catering CEO Tom Dickson. "Like the River Bandits, PSC works hard to bring innovative ideas and the highest level of positively outrageous guest service to Modern Woodmen Park."

ABOUT THE BANDITS: The River Bandits will make one of the biggest improvements to Modern Woodmen Park since the ballpark was first built back in 1931! A new Ferris wheel, standing 112 feet over the playing field, is scheduled to open in early June, along with two new zip lines, a carousel, a Frog Hopper, new bounce houses and many other fun attractions. The team also boasts a new major league affiliate, the Houston Astros, and last year's No. 1 overall draft pick, Carlos Correa. The Astros will also make the very first selection in the major league draft this June and are likely to send another overall number one pick to the Quad Cities. With new rides, new attractions, new improvements, a new affiliate and future major league stars, this season will be one every fan will not want to miss!

ABOUT PSC: Professional Sports Catering, LLC is the only full service food & beverage company that focuses exclusively on Minor League Baseball. Tom Dickson and his partner, Sherrie Myers launched the company in 2006 to serve the needs of minor league baseball teams across the country. The PSC business model focuses on high quality, fresh, cooked-before-your-eyes food and an almost obsessive level of customer service and partnership with its clients.
